Ministerstwo
About the Ministerstwo
Ministerstwo is a small, family-owned soap producer founded by sisters Ania and Ula Bieluń in Kamień Pomorski, located in the north-western part of Poland.
Ministerstwo specializes in creating solid, handmade soaps and cosmetics. Ministerstwo's success is rooted in the selection of high-quality raw materials, exceptional craftsmanship, and dedication to hard work.
Ministerstwo's journey began with a passion for soapmaking, influenced by a Monty Python-inspired sense of humor, particularly their Ministry of Silly Walks, and the belief that "It's good to do something well."
Joanne Harris' book Chocolat also played a role in shaping Ministerstwo's vision. The story of a chocolatier who instinctively knows what each customer needs resonated with Ministerstwo.
Additionally, Ministerstwo drew inspiration from the documentary film Jiro Dreams of Sushi, which showcases the world's only sushi chef to earn four Michelin stars. This film highlights the values of unwavering modesty and a profound love for one's work, principles Ministerstwo strives to embody in its own craft.
